I ordered a stock manual master cylinder, do I need to pull the residual valve out of it and leave the prop valves as is or is there a mod that needs to be done to it also? Trying to do this on a budget. The link for the conversion are outdated and most of the shortcuts don't work.
Stock discs in the front and gm metrics on the rear 9".
Thanks

In a nutshell, you can't use a disc/drum master for a disc/disc setup. The drum brake piston in the master won't make enough pressure or move enough volume of fuid to operate the rear discs properly. You also should get a disc/disc combo valve. Master Power Brakes has them both:
